E-City Cycles
Problem:
E-City Cycles sells all electric bikes and scooters
by taking the vehicle to the customer for test drives.
Having converted the business model from cars to cycles
and seeking to close their showroom in favor of a more
online approach, E-City wanted to freshen their image,
manage their own web content, and provide exploration
tools that helped their customers make an informed buy
decision.

Solution:
First we helped
the owner identify his target customers. Based on these
findings, we focused the redesign efforts to help
satisfy this person's needs, specifically quality information,
an engaging and fun experience, and tools to help
drive the buy decision. We included features to help
support both their online and offline marketing efforts,
such as an event calendar, integration for their
existing Constant Contact newsletter, and the creation
of a Facebook presence. The Right Bike Tool leads customers
through the catalog to products most likely to fit with
their needs and lifestyle. The overall look of the site
is fun and interactive, encouraging a longer stay, which
results in a better informed visitor. Tools simplifying
the test drive process complete the last part of the
E-City sales pipeline.
