Fashion Week San Antonio
Problem:
Fashion Group International (FGI) of San Antonio needed a website for their inaugural Fashion Week SA 2009. Their goals for the site included: 1) create a visually pleasing and attractive site that appealed to their broad target audience, 2) project an image that reinforced the mission of FGI, 3) provide a central source for all information about Fashion Week including schedule, ticket purchases, and press releases for the media, 4) reduce the workload of the volunteers by making much of the information for sponsors and media more self-serve, 5) help the Fashion Week team use the website to generate excitement and ticket sales for the week of events.

Solution:
The GreenFerret solution met or exceeded all the expectations of the client. The website proved to be a central point for information both prior to and during the event for attendees, sponsors, and the media. In addition to creating the basic website, GreenFerret worked with event organizers to tie in their Constant Contact e-mail marketing using matching branding. To generate excitement and drive people to the website, GreenFerret helped the organizers create a Facebook fan page and establish a Twitter page and event hash tag. The social media campaign combined with traditional media produced an immediate spike in website traffic that sustained itself until after the final event of the week. GreenFerret continues to work with FGI of San Antonio to help them plan a content update calendar to maintain search engine results for the page until next year's event.
